A two-minute visual narrative that invites viewers into the warmth and tradition of a family kitchen. Rather than relying on footage, this piece is constructed entirely from still photography, using a carefully curated sequence of close-up shots and varied angles to bring a cherished family recipe to life. My grandfather's corn pudding is made every Christmas without fail.
The project explores how an atmosphere can be built without motion. Through deliberate shot composition, tight macro details of ingredients and textures, wide establishing frames of the kitchen space, and everything in between, the piece guides the viewer through the rhythm of the recipe while ambient dialogue and sound effects play in the background, grounding the visuals in something deeply personal and familiar.
The result is a short film that feels less like a cooking demonstration and more like a memory: still, warm, and full of the kind of detail you only notice when you slow down and look closely.

A lighthearted short film following the all too relatable struggle of trying to get online when the internet has other plans. This video tracks Will's increasingly frustrated journey through the chaos of troubleshooting a connection issue, all in the name of getting back to his video games before time is up.
Shot with a variety of angles and different shot types, the piece uses intentional framing to amplify the comedy, tight reaction shots to capture Will's exasperation, wider shots to set the scene, and dynamic cuts that keep the pacing sharp and entertaining. The editing, done in Adobe Premiere Pro, ties it all together with a rhythm that plays into the humor and keeps the audience engaged from start to finish.
A fun, character-driven project that demonstrates an eye for comedic timing, shot composition, and post-production editing.
